District Cab is an accredited Digital Taxicab Solution (DTS) Provider in Washington, D.C. If you have a DFHV-issued Taxicab Operator's License, you can either rent a cab from us or install our DTS equipment in your own vehicle.

How to Apply

To apply, visit our office at 3399 Benning Rd NE with the following required documents:

A valid driver's license (issued in DC, MD, or VA)

A valid Face ID (DFHV-issued Taxicab Operator's License)

A copy of a voided check or direct deposit form from your bank

For Cab Owners Installing DTS Equipment:

Please call 202-398-0526 to schedule an installation appointment. Cab owners are required to bring these additional documents:

Vehicle registration (must be in your name)
A release letter from your previous DTS provider
